Our school has chosen to look at learning in a new way. Leader in Me helps each child become their best self and find their voice. As a school, our staff has made five important commitments- called Core Paradigms- that shape how we see and treat students. At Deer Point Elementary, we believe:

Leader in Me gives our school a clear way to help students grow in all areas of their development. As each child finds their unique strengths, they are given opportunities to lead. As leaders, students become more confident, responsible, and ready to take action. They also learn to listen to others, work as a team, and help each other do their best.
