Students and families were treated to a holiday show on Deer Point's stage in December. Chorus students, under the direction of Beth Ann Delmar, performed the lively musical, The Incredible Reindeer. The after-school program is open to 4th and 5th-grade students. Students rehearse weekly and perform in various functions throughout the school year, both at school and in the community.
Deer Point Elementary boasts a premier fine arts program. Mrs. Delmar was named the Florida Music Educators Association 2022-23 Elementary Music Educator of the Year. She is active in many music organizations and has secured dozens of grants to provide musical instruments for our students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
